United Fund reaches $90,000 goal for year

The 2003 Brewton and East Brewton United Fund Drive ended Dec. 31, meeting its goal of $90,000 for the year.
Last year, the United Fund was also successful in reaching its goal of $80,000.
The United Fund of Brewton and East Brewton is proud of the fact that all money raised in this area stays in the area, going to local charitable organizations that serve this community.
Money raised in 2003 by the United Fund will help support local programs and services at American Red Cross, East Escambia County Chapter; Brewton Area YMCA; Brewton Parks and Recreation Dept.; Escambia County Mental Health Association; Boy Scouts, Gulf Coast Council; Girl Scouts, Deep South Council; East Brewton Youth Sports; Southwest Alabama Mental Health/Mental Retardation Board; Escambia County Cooperative Library System; Alabama Cooperative Extension System; Disabled Children and Adults, Brewton Chapter; Salvation Army; Christian Community Benevolent Fund, Kid-One Transport and Brewton Public Library.
