Mrs. Bertha Addielean Daniels, 82, died Friday, Jan. 9, 2004 in a Pensacola hospital. She was a life-long resident of Escambia County and was of the Methodist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Daniels Sr.; a son, Charles Ray Daniels and a grandson, Buford Wiley Daniels Jr.
She is survived by two sons, Charles R. Daniels Jr. and Buford Wiley Daniels Sr., both of Brewton; one daughter, Charlene Arrant of Pollard; three brothers, Hugo Moye of Brewton, James Earl Moye of Destin, Fla. and Charles Harold Moye of Decatur, Ala.; three sisters, Daisy Childress of Pollard, Ernestine Staechlin of Albuquerque, N.M. and Hazel Ruth Pace of Monroeville; one grandchild and one great-grandson.
Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 12, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home. Burial followed at May Creek Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
