Mrs. Bessie Mae Moye, 82, died Friday, Jan. 30, 2004 in a Jay hospital. She was a native and life-long resident of Escambia County, Ala. She was homemaker and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Moye and a brother, Arthur J. Harper.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Ann Pritchett of Pace, Fla. and Carolyn E. Moye of Milton, Fla.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 3, at 11 a.m. at Flomaton Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Tim Boggs officiating. Burial followed at Bowman Cemetery in Wawbeek with Flomaton Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were William Reaves, Steven Reaves, Matthew Reaves, Travis Reaves, Jimmy Colley and Phillip Fair.
