Mr. William Aaron "Bill" Stanley Jr., 58, of Milton, died suddenly Thursday, Jan. 22, 2004 in a Milton hospital. He was a native and long-time resident of Brewton before moving to Milton. He was of the Protestant faith, former dive master for Escambia County Rescue Squad and a retired truck driver with the transportation industry.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Stanley of Milton; a son, William L. Stanley of Brewton; three daughters, Carla Moore of Milton, Shannon Walker of Mobile and Elizabeth Cain of Brewton; two sisters, Gwen Janes of Mobile and Amanda Odom of Brewton; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one nephew and three nieces.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Jan. 25, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. V.M. Lowell and Rev. Doug Greer officiating. Burial followed at Weaver Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
