Mrs. Lena Bell Fuqua Ball, 88, of the Roberts community died Friday, Feb. 20, 2004 at a local nursing facility after an extended illness. She was a native and life-long resident of Escambia County, Ala. and was a homemaker. She was a member of Elim Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Betty Beasley of Milton, Fla. and Isabell Ball of Brewton; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Feb. 22, at 2 p.m. at Elim Baptist Church with Rev. Alton Nixon and Rev. Harold McGraw officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
