Mrs. Katherine Turner Welch, 75, died Monday, March 8, 2004 in a Pensacola nursing facility. She was a lifelong resident of Escambia County, Ala. and had worked for Monsanto as a spinner repairer. She attended Pleasant Home Holiness Church.
She is survived by her husband, Everette Welch of Flomaton; a son, Johnny W. Lambeth of East Brewton; five brothers, James Turner and Melvin Turner, both of Flomaton, T.J. Turner of Athens, Ala., Billy Turner of Prattville and Edward Turner of Brewton and one grandson.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 10 at 10:30 a.m. at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Parkerson officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Home Holiness Church Cemetery with Flomaton Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be Roger Turner, Mike Turner, Burt Turner, Sam Turner, Eddie Turner and Bret Gafford.
