Mr. Charley Nick Easterling Sr., 64, died Friday, March 12, 2004 at his home after a brief illness. He was a native and former resident of Mississippi before moving to Brewton in 1982. He was an equipment operator in the timber industry and was a member of the World Wide Church of God. He served his country in the U.S. Navy and the National Guard
He is survived by his wife, Nella Marie Warden Easterling of Brewton; two sons, Charles Nick Easterling Jr. and John Douglas Easterling, both of Brewton; two daughters, Melissa Anne Robinson and Cynthia Denise Phelps, both of Brewton; two brothers, Lester Easterling of Goldonna, La. and Jerry Easterling of Lumberton, Miss.; two sisters, Betty Jean Ezell of Pascagoula, Miss. and Fredna Mae Almand of McDonough, Ga. and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 15, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Pickett officiating. Burial followed at Union Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
