Mrs. Victoria Elizabeth Wasdin Cooper, 80, died Thursday, April 22, 2004 in Petal, Miss. She was a native of former resident of McCullough, and a resident of Petal, Miss. for the past nine years. She was a retired employee of Vanity Fair after 30 years, attended the Primitive Baptist Church and was preceded in death by two husbands, Fellis Wasdin and Quintin Cooper.
She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Foshee of Petal, Miss. and Linda Fields of Grand Bay; a step-son, Kenneth Wasdin of Atmore; a brother, Eulie Bryant of Atmore; three sisters, Voncile Lassitter of Atmore, Alma Stewart of Wade, Miss. and Alene Wasdin of Atmore; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 24, at 2 p.m. at the Corinth Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Dan Cates officiating. Burial followed at Corinth Cemetery with Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were James Bryant, Scott Fields, Benny Lassitter, Anthony Stewart, Pete Glass and Tony Bryant.
