Mrs. Mary Nell Wyatt, 86, died Monday, June 7, 2004 in a local nursing facility after an extended illness. She was a native of Alabama and a long-time former resident of Georgiana before moving to Brewton in 1986. She was a retired school teacher having taught for 40 years and was a member of First Baptist Church of Brewton. She was preceded in death by her brother, Hal K. Wyatt and a sister, Jean W. Young.
She is survived by two nieces, Nita Mickwee of Fairfield, Calif. and Nancy Davis of Daphne and two nephews, Bubba Young of Brewton and Jim Wyatt of Nashville, Tenn.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 11, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Fitts officiating. Burial followed at Oakwood Cemetery in Georgiana with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
