Brewton City Board of Ed. holds regular meeting

The Brewton City Board of Education met Monday, June 14, to discuss several items of business, including naming an administrator for a Section 125 insurance plan.
The Section 125 Plan will allow employees of Brewton City Schools to pay certain insurance premiums before taxes are paid. The board voted to have this plan administered by AFLAC.
In other business, the board voted to pay the Escambia County Board of Education 12 payments of $9,905.22 to cover the cost of Brewton City Schools' students who attend the Escambia Brewton Career Technical Center.

The board's next two meetings are set for July 19 and Aug. 9, with a budget hearing on July 26.
