Ms. Irene Smith Odom, 56, died Saturday, June 5, 2004. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Joseph Curry Jr.
She is survived by a sister, Janice Goodson of Brewton; two brothers, Cleve Smith of Pascagoula, Miss. and Houston, Texas and Wade Smith of Jersey City, N.J. and other family and friends including a special friend, Geraldine Burns.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 12, at 11 a.m. at St. John Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. W.J. Dailey and Rev. Norman Miller officiating. Burial followed at Springhill Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
