Mr. Frank J. Ebert, 88, of Columbus, Ind. died Thursday, July 1, 2004 at a Columbus medical center after an extended illness. He was a native of Dayton, Ohio and a long-time resident of Columbus. He was a retired manager with Reliance Electric, a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church and U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Clara H. Brown Ebert of Columbus; three sons, Steve Ebert of Columbus, David Ebert of Harrodsburg, Ken. and Frank J. Ebert III of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; one brother, George Ebert of Sarasota, Fla.; two sisters, Catherine Ebert and Sue Ebert, both of Ketering, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Annie Merle Cook of Brewton; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 6, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home chapel with Father Adrian Cook officiating. Burial followed at Fort Crawford Cemetery in East Brewton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
