Mrs. Irene G. Taylor, 84, died Tuesday, June 29, 2004 in a Panama City nursing facility. She was a native and long-time resident of Escambia County, Ala. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Taylor; a son, Frederick George; a brother, Glynn Graves and a sister, Myradee Petty.
She is survived by three sons, Hollis George of Brewton, Donald George of Pace, Fla. and Lester George of Panama City, Fla.; two brothers, Steve Graves and Wilbur Graves, both of Brewton; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 3, 2004 from the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with Rev. Homer Stewart officiating. Burial followed at Pineview Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
