Mrs. Elouise Dailey, 82, died Monday, July 5, 2004 in a Pensacola hospital. She was a native of Frisco City and a resident of Atmore for many years. She was a member of Old Ship Baptist Church in Atmore and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Dan Dailey of Atmore; three daughters, Ethel Haynesworth of Boston, Mass., Beverly Rufus of Atmore and Sonjia D. Wells of Tuscaloosa; seven sons, James Dailey of Emelle, Ala., David Dailey of Brockton, Mass. and Earl Dailey, Charles Dailey, Elbert Dailey, W.C. Dailey and Alvin Dailey, all of Atmore; one sister, Alma Boggans of Atmore; a brother, James Lambert of Los Angeles; 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 10, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Gillead Baptist Church in Freemanville with Overseer Quillas Mitchell officiating. Burial followed at Fairview Cemetery with Turner Funeral Chapel directing.
