Dr. Bill Thallemer, dean of students at Jefferson Davis Community College, has accepted a position as vice president of student services at Odessa College in Odessa, Texas.
Thallemer, who joined Jeff Davis in 2001, said he has enjoyed his time here.
Dr. Thallemer has been involved in the community through the Rotary Club, Kiwanis Club, Relay for Life, and St. Maurice Catholic Church. He also worked with the Coalition for a Healthier Escambia County to develop the UPS program and has worked on other initiatives in the public school system.
