Jolly seeks election to Brewton City Council seat

Lawrence Vernon Jolly Sr. has qualified as a candidate for Brewton City Council for District Four.
He is a native of Moultrie, Ga. and attended Moultrie High School. He received an associate's degree in community organizing and community development in Cleveland, Ohio.
He later attended E.L. White Seminary Bible College in Atmore and received a bachelor's degree of Theology, a master and doctrine in divine divinity. He is the founder and director of the Brewton Street Ministry.
He is married to Juanita Jolly and has seven children, 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is employed at Smurfit and Stone Container and has been there almost 27 years.
He is a faithful member of First Saint Siloam Baptist Church where he is a deacon, chairman of the finance committee and a teacher of the Tuesday night Bible class.
