Mr. Kerry Hicks, 37, died Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola. He was a native of Flomaton and a resident of Century, Fla. for many years. He was a member of Pilgrim Lodge Baptist Church in Century and was employed at Outward Bound for almost three years. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Irma Hicks; his grandparents, Sam Hicks and Earlie and Esther Stallworth and a brother, Michael Hicks.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Hicks of Century; a daughter, Brittany Hicks of Century; a son, Trevor Hubbard of Century; five sisters, Ariel Watts of Seattle, Wash. and Janice Moore, Gloria Castleman, Carolyn Moore and Melissa Dixon, all of Century; one brother, Kenneth Hicks of Century and his grandmother, Gladys Hicks of Century.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 19, 2004 at 11 a.m. at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church of Century with Rev. Leonard Watson Jr. officiating and Century Cemetery with Turner Funeral Chapel directing.
