Mr. Donald Ray Stewart Sr., 65, died Tuesday, July 22, 2004 at his residence after an extended illness. He was a native of Atmore and a life-long resident of Brewton. He was of the Assembly of God faith, retired from Monsanto with 35 years service and a member of National Fox Hunters Organization.
He is survived by his wife, Gayle Turnbow Stewart of Brewton; two sons, Ray Stewart and Paul Stewart, both of Brewton; a sister, Shirley Stewart of East Brewton and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 24, at 1 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Earl Elliott and Rev. Hunter Hall officiating. Burial followed at Elim Cemetery in Roberts with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
