Mr. Jack Mitchell Salazar, 68, died Monday, Aug. 2, 2004 at a Pensacola hospital after an extended illness. He was a native of Phenix City and a resident of Georgia before moving to Flomaton in 1970. He was a retired welder with Daniels Construction and a U.S. Marine veteran. He was a member of Beulah Holiness Church.
He is survived by four brothers, Buck T. Salazar of Augusta, Ga.; Daniel Salazar and Billy J. Salazar, both of Phenix City, and Micky Salazar of Jacksonville, Fla.; three sisters, Sarah McCullough of Worthington, Ind., Lynda Bacerra of Columbus, Ga., and Mary Chavers of Flomaton.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Aug. 4, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 5, at 10 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Joe Scott and the Rev. J.B. Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Gardens with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
