Dewayne King is seeking re-election for the City of East Brewton City Council Place 4.
King cites several examples of East Brewton's progress in the last four years -- the addition of Fred's Shopping Cneter and several other new businesses; completion of the Senior Citizens Nutritional Building on Williamson Street, with a grant provided by the South Alabama Planning Commission; near completion of the Little League Complex, at no cost to citizens; paving of streets; the addition of sidewalks; and receiving community block grants to re-hab homes on Andrew Jackson and Mayo streets.
King has been very active in the school system and community for many years as he has a daughter, Erin, who attends W.S. Neal High School. He has served as president of the Band Boosters Club, vice-president of the Quarter Back Club, coach for the East Brewton Little League Program and co-director of the Escambia Special Olympics.
He is a member of the East Brewton First Baptist Church and is employed by the City of Brewton.
