Bettie Jordan has qualified to run for election to East Brewton City Council Place 5.
Jordan has had 18 years of experience in city government. According to Jordan, she has proven her dependability and community concern.
Over the last four years, her goal has been to listen to and vote the will of the people of East Brewton.
She hopes to continue to represent the people's interest with the support of the voters on Aug. 24, 2004.
She lists her work experience as Monsanto, the zoning board, the Board of Adjustments, the water board and East Brewton City Council.
She is a member of First Baptist Church, Hospital Auxiliary, Escambia County Library Board and Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program.
