Mrs. Pauline Olivia Oliver, 98, died at a local healthcare facility Monday, Aug. 9, 2004. She was a native of Castleberry and was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Samuel Oliver and a son, James Samuel Oliver.
She is survived by four daughters, Louise Miniard of Castleberry, Patricia McNeill of Auburn, Wash., Norma Doolittle of Mobile and Joan Taylor of Theodore; a son, John E. Oliver of Montgomery; a sister, Mildred Givham; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 13, at 3 p.m. at London Baptist Church with the Rev. John Finklea and the Rev. Mack Morris officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
