Sheriff's Office arrests Brewton man for gunfire

Roger Anthony Dixon, a 44 year old white male of 3567 Marietta Road, Brewton was arrested Friday, Aug. 20, and charged with shooting into an unoccupied dwelling. He was later released on a $3,000 bond.
On Thursday, Aug. 19, 2004 at approximately 10:30 p.m. the Escambia County Sheriff's Office received a complaint at 3580 William Cook Road in the Damascus community, the residence of Michael David Jackson, in reference to someone shooting into his home. Deputies responded to discover someone had fired a shotgun through the front door of Jackson's residence.
The Escambia County Sheriff's Department still has this case under investigation.
