Mr. Harvey Ellis "Harv-O" Joiner, 53, died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2004, at his residence in Brewton after a short battle with cancer. He was a native of Walnut Hill, Fla., and a long time resident of Brewton. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and was preceded in death by his father, Bradford Joiner.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle Joiner of Brewton, his mother and step-father, Helen and Bobby Anding of Raleigh, Miss.; two sons, Ryan Joiner of Brewton and Shannon Joiner of Jay, Fla.; a daughter, Karie Joiner of Atmore; a step-daughter, Jamie Brandenburg of Knoxville, Tenn.; two brothers, Hubert Joiner of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla. and Glen Joiner of Atmore; a sister, Linda Tullos of Raleigh, Miss.; three granddaughters and other family and friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 14, at 10:30 a.m. from the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with Pastor Johnny Cardwell officiating. Burial followed at Travis Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
