Local groceries re-opened at 9 a.m. Friday with limited power from generators and limited supplies.
Food Fair manager Rodney Scott said at about 10 a.m. Friday he had already sold all of the charcoal he had and no ice was available.
Local Winn Dixie co-manager Robert Bell said his store is part of the Pensacola division.
While the store had trucks ordered, Bell wasn't sure when they would be able to reach Brewton.
Scott said Thursday that Alabama Power crews estimated full power would be restored to the shopping area in which Food Fair is located in about five days.
Both grocery stores planned to have limited hours, closing at 5 p.m., as long as a curfew was in place.
Walmart was expected to re-open on Saturday.
