Mr. Bruce Edward Howington, 48, died Thursday, Sept. 30, 2004, at a local hospital. He was a native and life-long resident of Brewton and was a heavy equipment operator with the oil industry. He was a farmer and of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his mother, Sallie Howington of Brewton; his wife, Sharon Lee Howington of Brewton; one daughter, Michelle McClellan of Brewton; four brothers, Raymond Howington, Charles Howington and Cecil Howington, all of Brewton and Buddy Howington of D'Lo, Miss.; two sisters, Helen English of Pace, Fla. and Cathy Green of Flomaton and one granddaughter.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct. 3, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Dr. Stephen Yuhasz officiating. Burial followed at Catawba Springs Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
