Six new opponents and one new tournament highlight the 2005 W.S. Neal Blue Eagles baseball schedule.
The Blue Eagles have picked up contests with three-out-of-state schools. W.S. Neal will have a home and away series with Northview (Fla.) as well as a road date at Milton (Fla.). The Blue Eagles will make a second trip to Milton where they will play Donaldson Christian Academy (Tenn.).
Other new teams on the W.S. Neal schedule include a home and away series with new Class 3A Area 1 rival Straughn, a doubleheader at UMS-Wright and a home date with Monroe County.
The Blue Eagles will spend their spring break with three days of competition at the Robertsdale Tournament.
"We feel we've really beefed up our schedule for next year. We've got a lot of seniors on our team next season and this schedule should be a good challenge for them," W.S. Neal coach Coy Campbell said.
