The Atmore YMCA and Pepsi of Atmore will host the annual Williams Station Day 5K run and walk Saturday.
The kids fun run will begin at 8 a.m. and the 5K will begin at 8:30 a.m. Saturday. This year, the event will be held in memory of Dylan Adams, an avid runner and a former Brewton resident who died earlier this year from cancer. He was the grandson of Milton and Carolyn Adams.
The kids run will be for ages up to 10 years old. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each division.
The age division are: up to 10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-60 and 60-up.Price for registation in the 5K is $10 before the even and $15 the day of the race. The YMCA staff will begin registration at 7:30 a.m. the day of the race.Price for the kids fun run is $8 to preregister and $10 the day of the race. For more information, call the Y, 368-9622.
