Mr. Estes "Buck" Taylor, 79, died Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004, at a Pensacola, Fla., hospital. He was a native of McLain, Miss., and a resident of Flomaton for the past 35 years. He attended the Baptist church.
He is survived by five sons, Ronald Taylor of Columbia, Miss., Richard Taylor of Hattisburg, Miss., and Joseph Smith, Jeffery Taylor and Michael Taylor, all of Flomaton; two daughters, Geraldine Turnage of Columbia, Miss., and Kay Fillmore of Flomaton; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 18, at 10 a.m. at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home of Atmore with the Rev. Jim Johnson officiating. Graveside services were held Oct. 18, at 4 p.m. at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia, Miss., with Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Steve Ross, Bubba Pridgen, Shana Booth, Scotty Walker, Jack Green and Curtis Moye.
