T.R. Miller has rescheduled Andrew "Zeke" Johnson Night for November 12. Johnson will be honored at 6:30 p.m. prior to T.R. Miller's first-round home playoff game, which starts at 7 p.m.
Johnson has served as the Tigers manager for 30 seasons.
Johnson was originally supposed to be honored Friday when T.R. Miller hosted Jay, but that game was cancelled due to rescheduling difficulties caused by Hurricane Ivan.
T-shirts honoring Johnson are now available at $12 each and can be purchased through Roger Chapman, Terece Shehan and Marilyn Raines.
Either Aliceville or West Blocton will be T.R. Miller's opponent at that first-round playoff game. Both teams are 4-2 in Class 3A Region 3 and 6-2 overall.
Barring a couple of upsets this Friday, it will be West Blocton that visits Brewton November 12.
Aliceville owns the head-to-head tie-breaker against West Blocton with a 54-33 victory last Friday. Aliceville will clinch that region's third seed and a date at Straughn if it beats Francis Marion (2-6) this Friday or if unbeaten Midfield (8-0) beats West Blocton.

The 1984 T.R. Miller Tigers state championship football team will be recognized at both the school pep rally Friday at 2:30 p.m. and also prior to the 7:30 p.m. home game against Abbeville. The pregame ceremony starts at 7 p.m.
The team was originally supposed to have been recognized on the 20th anniversary of their accomplishment back on September 17, but was postponed due to Hurricane Ivan.
In between the pep rally and pregame recognition of the 1984 team will be the T.R. Miller Quarterback Club Tailgate Party. That activity gets underway at 4 p.m.
The 1984 team will also have a postgame reception at the Ritz in Brewton Friday.
The T.R. Miller Quarterback Club will hold its $10,000 Giveaway drawing November 16. Tickets are still available at $100 each. Tickets can be purchased through Roger Chapman.
The T.R. Miller Parent Picture Day will be held November 11 at 5 p.m. at Brewton Municpal Stadium.
