United Fund of Brewton and East Brewton helps the East Escambia Chapter of the American Red Cross help fire victims, among other things.
The Red Cross helps fire victims get back on their feet by providing funding for immediate necessities.
The East Escambia Chapter of the American Red Cross is among the 15 agencies that will benefit from the $90,000 United Fund hopes to raise for 2005. United Fund asks citizens to contribute the equivalent of one hour's wages each month to local charities. Donations may be mailed to United Fund of Brewton and East Brewton, P.O. Box 34, Brewton, AL 36427.
