Mrs. Earline Ivey Allen, 83, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2004, at a local hospital. She was a native of Conecuh County and a life-long resident of the Brewton area. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church in Brewton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Vandon Allen.
She is survived by a son, Van Allen of DeRidder, La.; a daughter, Kathleen Powell of Brunswick, Ga.; a brother, Robert Earl "R.E." Ivey of Andalusia; a sister, Mabel Moorer of Shalimar, Fla., and two grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 12, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Gary Daniel and the Rev. Thomas Quick officiating and Craver's Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Mike Moorer, Tommy Allen, David Allen, Jim McCracken, Larry Eddins and Ty Ivey.
