Mr. Norman Marshall Morris, 66, of the Sandcut community, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004, at his residence after an extended illness. He was a native of McClelland, Fla., and a long-time resident of Brewton, before moving to the Sandcut community seven years ago. He was a retired electrician with Jefferson-Smurfit Corporation and a cattle farmer. He attended Appleton Assembly of God Church.
He is survived by his wife, Kathie Cain Dunsford Morris of Castleberry; a son, Norman Morris of Castleberry; a step-son, Kevin Dunsford of Century, Fla.; a brother, James Morris of Brewton; two sisters, Vera Alford and Jeannie Normand, both of Brewton, and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 26, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Pettis and the Rev. Thomas White officiating. Burial followed at New Hopewell Cemetery in Castleberry with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
