Mrs. Bertha Mahalley Odom, 84, died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004, in a local hospital. She was a native of Atmore and had lived in the area for 46 years. She was a homemaker and attended Happy Valley Holiness Church in Century. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earlie Odom.
She is survived by two daughters, Louise Odom of Stapleton and Margaret Sunday of Century; a son, Earl Odom of Blanchard, La.; a brother, Bud Lister of Robinsonville; four sisters, Bertie Blair of Robinsonville, Lillie Mae Mosley of Lottie, Gladys Burch of Lenox and Frances Lister of Brewton; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and nine step-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 20, at 2 p.m. at Flomaton Funeral Home with Tommy Lee Johnson officiating. Burial followed at Emmons Cemetery in Flomaton with Flomaton Funeral Home directing.
