Mrs. Gaye Kirkland Wilson, 58, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2004, at her residence in Royston. She was a native of Opelika and had been a resident of Royston for the past 11 years coming from Raeford, N.C. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband, W.B. "Monkey" Wilson of Royston; two daughters, Sonjia Crews and Kanita Wilson, both of Royston; one brother, Gary Leon Kirkland of Dothan; two sisters, Ramona K. McNeill of Royston and Sherry Shipp of Castleberry; and one grandchild.
Graveside funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 30, at 11 a.m. at Zion Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Thomas Smith officiating and Craver's Funeral Home directing.
