Construction began last week on two major expansion programs at D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital, a renal dialysis center and a hospital expansion, according to administrator Billy Joe Griffin.
Krista Oliver of Atmore was crowned Escambia County Junior Miss. Runers-up were Mitzi Castelin of Brewton; Tracie Hardy of Brewton; and Val Ward of Flomaton.
