Mrs. Delois Martin, 60, died Monday, Dec. 6, 2004 at her residence. She was a native of Wilcox County and a resident of Atmore for many years. She was a member of Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Atmore and had worked at Masland Carpet. She was preceded in death by her mother, Bella Mae Martin.
She is survived by one daughter, Diane Martin of Atmore; one son, Clinton McCants of Huntsville; seven sisters, Betty Young of Mobile, Shirley McCants of Pensacola, Fla., Nellitia Moye of Cantonment, Fla., Verna Malden of Birmingham, and Ruby Tucker, Debra McCants and Eunice McCants, all of Atmore; one brother, John McCants Jr. of Ft. Levenworth, Kansas; her father, John McCants of Atmore; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 11, at 11 a.m. at Ebenezer Lutheran Church with the Rev. Moses Clark officiating. Burial followed at Stallworth Cemetery with Turner Funeral Chapel directing.
