Property owners who wish to claim exemptions for the tax year 2005 must do so by Dec. 31, 2004. This would include owners who have purchased homes since Oct. 1, 2003, through Oct. 1, 2004, and all owners who wish to claim an exemption of age 65 years old or older, along with those people who are totally and permanently disabled.

Hurricane Ivan storm damage to structures should also be reported by Dec. 31, 2004.
Also, those persons who wish to claim "Current Use" on agricultural land must file an application by Dec. 31, 2004.
