Mrs. Irene Lee, 93, of Flomaton, died Friday, Dec. 17, 2004, at a Mobile hospital. She was a native of Lenox and had been a resident of Flomaton since 1942. She had worked in sales at Edwards Department Store in Flomaton during her working years. She was a member of Flomaton Pentecostal Holiness Church where she served as secretary and treasurer for more than 40 years.
She is survived by two son, Buford "Pete" Lee of Satsuma and Glenn Lee of Fairhope; a sister, Johnnie Dykes of Mobile; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Dec. 18, at 3 p.m. at Flomaton Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Homer Stewart officiating. Burial followed at Flomaton Cemetery with Flomaton Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Keith Lee, Ron Lee, Trent Hall, Mitch Potter, Randy Warren and John Lynn.
