Mr. Eddie W. Truesdell, II, died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004 in McDavid, Fla. He was a native of Perry, Fla., a former resident of Pensacola, Fla., and a resident of McDavid, Fla., since 1997. He was a veteran in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Coast Guard, a member of the VFW and American Legion, a NYCO security guard and attended the Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Anajane Truesdell.
He is survived by one sun, Eddie "Rusty" and Fay Truesdell of Falls Church, Va.; two brothers, Raymond and Christine Truesdell of McDavid, Fla., and Fred and Sylvia Petty of Clearwater, Fla.; two sisters, Dorothy Cox of Nashville, Tenn., and Margo and Jerry Huggin of North Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Foster Kizer, Andy Capps, Scott Capps, Thomas Neal, Billy Ward and Bobby Holland.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 29 at 10 a.m. from the Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. F.L. Enfinger and the Rev. Dexter Truesdell officiating. Burial followed in the Barrancus National Cemetery with Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
