Mrs. Eunice Roby Jackson, 88, died on Thursday, Dec. 24, 2004, in a local nursing facility. She was a native of Fayette County and had been a resident of the Brewton area for most of her life. Along with her husband, she co-owned Jackson's Clothing Store in Brewton for a number of years. She was a member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carse Casey Jackson, Sr.
She is survived by one son, Carse Casey (Deborah) Jackson, Jr. of Andalusia; two daughters, Carole (Gene) Roberts of Brewton, and Sandra (Harvey) Ellis of East Brewton; two brothers, Burton Roby of Pensacola, Fla., and Jon Roby of Decatur; two sisters, Flonnie Jackson of Florala, and Mattie Lee Lombard of Decatur; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Mrs Jackson's grandsons served as pallbearers.
Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 27, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with Elder Maxwell Peevy officiating. Burial followed in the Fort Crawford Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
