Billy Wayne Salter, age 53, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2004, in Brewton. Mr. Salter was a native and lifelong resident of Escambia County and was a Christian by faith.
He is survived by a son, Billy Joe Salter of Navarre, Fla.; a daughter, Mary Ann McGhee of Jay; a sister, Joann Salter, of East Brewton; a half-brother, John Houston Salter of Moody, Texas, and a half-sister, Sandra K. Elmos of Navarre; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Monday, Dec. 27, 2004, at 5 p.m. from the Chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with Elder Bo Thompson officiating and Craver's Funeral Home directing.
