The Brewton Tree and Beautification Board, along with the Water Board, recently installed a new fountain in downtown Brewton.
Gordy said the city has been a huge help in the process of getting grants and contributing funds to build the park.
Once completed, Gordy said a dedication ceremony will be held in early spring.
Gordy said the project cost the Brewton Tree and Beautification Board more than $120,000, much of which was donated by the city and individuals.
