Two wildcat test wells are being drilled in Escambia County this week. Seaboard Oil Co. is drilling its first wildcat about two miles north of Robinsonville. It is the No. 1 Alger-Sullivan well. The No. 1 Atkinson Oil Trust is being drilled about a mile and a half southeast of McGowin's Bridge by Walter F. Hamilton and Dale Armour.
Coming Wednesday – Famous TV circus stars in person, Neal High School Auditorium. Acts include trained animals, jugglers, tumblers, and aerialists, trick monkeys and ponies and daredevil stunts.
The wedding of Miss Jane Roberta Mills and Mr. Frank Mooney Nalty was solemnized in the Chapel of Springhill College, Mobile, on Dec. 28.
