Mrs. Vera Voncile "Seal" Findley, 80, died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2005 in Century, Fla. She was a native of Fannie and a resident of Flomaton for most of her life. She was an employee of Village Flower Shop for 40 years and of Griffin Florist for six years. She attended the Friendship Freewill Baptist Church was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Findley and a son, Russell Findley.
She is survived by her son, Dale (Elvennia) Findley of Flomaton; her daughter, Judy (Woodrow) Courtney of Flomaton; a daughter-in-law, Karen Cash of Flomaton; a brother, Joe (Wilma) Turner of Flomaton; a sister, Beulah Nisewonger of Century; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held today, Sunday, Jan. 16, at 2 p.m. at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Henderson and Bro. Brian Richburg officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Home Cemetery with Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be Mike Murphy, Jeff Fletcher, Jonathan Cooley, Jason Hart, Todd White and Rusty Burnham
