Mrs. Martha Sue Adams, 83, died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2005, at a local medical facility. She was a native of Conecuh County and was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, James Edward (Shirley) Adams of Excel, and Joseph Michael (Kelley) Adams of Evergreen; four daughters, Addie Laura (Harry) Burch of Owasso, Okla., Betty Sue (Ronnie) Cato of East Brewton, Marjorie (Buddy) Kirksey of Castleberry, and Deborah (Richard) Holt of Lincoln, Neb.; one sister, Addie Lee Jackson of Evergreen; 13 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held today, Jan. 30, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Cope Funeral Home with Brother Peter Cooper officiating. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Evergreen, with Cope Funeral Home directing.
