Wreck claims Brewton man

An early morning accident last weekend involving one vehicle resulted in the death of a Brewton man and two people were injured in a separate accident on County Road 49.
On Friday, Jan. 21 at 7:35 a.m., a passenger was killed while traveling on County Road 18. Timothy Bernard White, 29, of Brewton died on the scene.
Trooper Jimmy Dean was the first to arrive on the scene. Andrew Harvey, 40, was the driver of a 1998 Jeep. Passenger Frank Collins Junior III, 24, was injured.
The accident is currently under investigation.
In a separate incident that day, an accident involving two vehicles occurred on County Road 49, also known as Appleton Road, at 8 p.m.
Sharon Cooper, 36, was driving a 1996 Saturn and was injured. She was taken to D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital in Brewton.
Daniel Barnett, 18, was driving a 1993 Oldsmobile. Haley Ellis, 18, was a passenger in the car and was injured. Trooper Ben Roe was the first officer to arrive on the scene.
