A group decides to go ahead with plans to form a Citizen's Committee on Education.
A total of 3.65 inches of rain fell on Saturday and Sunday. Conecuh rose to the 8.9 foot marker.
City Council agreed to spend $45,000 for four new classrooms at Brewton Elementary School.
The city planned a big street, sidewalk and school program.
A wreck on Hwy. 29 pushed traffic deaths to three since Jan. 15.
Mr. Jack Taylor was appointed by the city council to serve a term on the City Library Board.
