Local residents who have opinions about a possible new middle school will have an opportunity to make those opinions known when the Brewton City Board of Education meets at 5 p.m. tomorrow Monday, Feb. 14.
Superintendent Lynn Smith said notices have been sent to the city's three schools and to PTOs inviting those interested to present their comments.
Smith said he has been to faculty meetings and PTO executive committee meetings seeking in put and listening.
Last summer, a committee of city council and board of education members was appointed to begin working on the issue.
In many community, Smith said, public facilities are being combined with school facilities to provide services for both.
