3 arrested on drug charges

Two men and a woman were arrested in separate incidents this week regarding drug activity.
Agents from the 21st Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force and deputies from the Escambia County Sheriff's Department arrested Curtis Ray Jordan, 37, and Elisha Michelle Jordan, 35, both living at 3325 Bradley Road in Brewton Tuesday afternoon.
According to a news release, troopers from the Alabama Department of Public Safety searched the Jordans' residence. During the search, agents found more than 1.5 pounds of marijuana, $1,800 in cash, three firearms and Xanex pills at the residence.
Both were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana first degree, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
In a separate incident on Tuesday, an investigation conducted by the Task Force and sheriff deputies involving Randolph Harris.
At approximately 8:30 p.m., officers began investigating illegal narcotic activity, which occurred on Memory Lane in Brewton, according to a news release.
Agents recovered one pound of marijuana and approximately $2,000 in cash.
According to task force officials, Harris is currently on parole with the Alabama Pardons and Parole and has previously served a sentence of life plus 10 years from a 1999 drug conviction.
Harris has only served 3.5 to 4 years of this sentence and was released because of the overcrowding problem in the Alabama Prison Sentence System.
Harris, 39, of 300 East Jackson Street in Brewton, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana first degree and unlawful distribution of a controlled substance.
